Podcast Directories

by admin 18. September 2005 21:09

There are many podcast directories on the web today. In addition there are many podcast clients out there as well. I would like to point out one of my favorites. I have found it easy to use, quick to update and reliable. A major advantage of their directory is the searching. Unlike many sites where the search results are lousy, this site is on top of things. The search results are valid.

When looking for our podcast, I was able to find it using these keywords: "money well spent," "winter12," "john henderson," "patrick stuart," etc. Most directories bring up so many bogus results you can not easily find a podcast. If you can't find your own easily, how are you going to find one a friend might have mentioned?

Bottom line, using Podfeed.net that has not been a problem. In fact, it has been very good.

Another major advantage is podfeed.net does not automatically add submitted podcasts, but rather they have a somewhat manual review process that seems to directly lead to the sites overall usefulness and success.
