IBM x41 Tablet

I have now been using IBM's tablet PC for approximately 2 weeks now. I really like it. It is a great way to work. The traditional notebook functionality is rather common and good. IBM has always manufactured high quality notebook computers. Nothing has changed now that IBM has shared that portion of the business with Lenovo.

The fingerprint scanner is a great feature. It works flawlessly and is a great method for securing your system. The fingerprint software and scanner can even be used to secure your system's abiltiy to power on. Definately a step in the right direction for mobile computing security.

The tablet functionality is good, but when coupled with Microsoft OneNote it is incredibly efficient and benificial. I use it for taking notes and drawing diagrams daily.

The bluetooth and wireless integration is good. The battery life is very impressive. All in all, I would recommend this in a minute. I would however recommend operating with the memory fully upgraded to 1.5 gig. 512 meg was not nearly enough.
